Hard to believe this so called junior or nursery strap was the kind used on even small children for administering a sound OTK spanking although it packs a good sting to it. It was used in homes, nurseries and junior schools up until the early seventies. It is hand crafted from the finest 14-16 oz (5-6mm) Heavy thick imported British Harness Leather. It measures 16 inches long by 1 & 1/2 wide. All the edges are marked with a saddlers crease line, are fully beveled, burnished and finished.

Junior Spanking Paddle

This Stingy little spanking leather paddle is very effective for correcting any type of wayward behavior. Made of firm, heavy 14-16 oz (5-6 mm) Imported British Harness leather of the finest quality. The Paddle measures 15 x 3 inches including a 6 inch molded leather handle that is cross laced at the back making for a very comfortable grip. The blade is 9 inches long with five 1/4 inch holes , It is aprox 1/4 inch thick. Its size and weight make it perfect for display, especially when hung on its 3/4 inch nickel D ring for all to see. A fine example of the kind of strap used by the stricter Victorian governess and nanny. This reproduction of a Victorian governess strap is a severe instrument of corporal punishment, used regularly on their wards in day's gone bye. This fine instrument is made of the finest 14-16 oz (5-6mm) Stamped H for Heavy Imported British Harness Leather. It is 19.1/2 inches long. 1.1/4 inch wide tapering down to 1 inch at the business end, where there are two 4.1/2 x 1/2 tails, that pack a real sting. This strap was carefully hand crafted to the original specifications. All the edges are marked with a saddlers crease line, fully beveled and burnished to a fine smooth finish.

Its dainty size is not to be confused with it's wicked sting measuring only 13 & 1/2 inches by 1 & 1/4 inches.
