The Leather Cane
Canes are a distinctive sign of authority and versatile to use. Which is why this cane should be included in every play session. It is made from 3 layers of leather, 25” long and 1” wide, hand-stitched. The length means it can be used in the same way as a normal cane, but with the unique sensation only leather can bring. The built-up handle is the same as our CP range of implements, with a D-Ring on the end for hanging.

All our implements are made from our thick Oak Bark Tanned Harness Leather and in a choice of Rich Tobacco Brown or Black. They are hand-crafted from beginning to end, made with care and attention for the perfect piece. It is beveled and burnished to a glass-smooth finish, with a saddlers crease around the edge. Not only amazing to use and feel, but beautiful to the eye too.
Although we try to select the perfect piece of leather for our implements, sometimes the leather does have slight blemishes and grain. Also, because this is a natural material, colour may vary slightly from hide to hide. This, however, we feel is what adds to its individual natural character.

This is the most awesome implement that I have ever been beaten with. It is more painful than the Singapore prison cane. After a few dozen with the leather cane you can’t sit down and your backside is quite bloody. If you like a good hard beating this is for you. It is brutal. Lee.

After a few dozen strokes with the leather cane I found I couldn’t sit down and my backside was very bloody. Everyone on this website is into pain and this is the ultimate pain. If you like giving or receiving pain this is all you need.

I’ve been a fan (i.e., recipient) of the leather strap for a very long time. Over the years I have invested in a large number of very high quality straps, and I’ve constantly been in search of greater sting and/ or greater severity. At times I’ve bought straps that are very thick (like the Leather Cane), but I have often found that they lose the special “characteristics” of leather (sting and burn) and just deliver thud. So based on those experiences I’ve typically avoided those straps and looked for severity in different ways.
However, after a conversation with the owner of London Tanners I decided to give this 3 layer strap a go. I can honestly say that the leather cane is without doubt the most severe strap I have ever been on the receiving end of (including the recently acquired Texas Prison Strap). “Brutal” might not fully capture its impact. Maybe “savage” is better? At 24″ long it really picks up velocity when it is swung, and at just 1″ wide it is relatively light (so very easy to swing hard and fast) and it concentrates all of the impact into a narrow, targeted stripe. Unlike the very thick straps I’ve had in the past, it loses none of the sting that a good leather strap delivers. But at the same time it delivers a deep, agonizing and penetrating burn that maintains and builds the intensity of that first impact over several seconds. The pain takes quite a while to subside making it brutally effective. The narrowness does mean that tops will need to be careful to keep the impact surface flat and not hit with the edges. For us, after one or two slightly stray swats my top was swinging her arm freely and inflicting accurate and agonizing pain each time she did.
If you are new to spanking and not sure how much you can take, I suggest you steer well clear of this strap. If you are a real sensation junkie, and you like that unique leather feel, this is the ultimate toy for you.
